Started pulling the 6-cyl for the Spitfire down after work yesterday. Got down to the head bolts and draining the oil. Hopefully tomorrow I'll pull the crank and see what condition that's in :)

I took one look and knew it was British - I recognized the Lucas alternator.

Pitiful, right?

Soon it'll have a lightweight one. Saves a kilo or so, I'm yet to weigh it.

you're right, the power supply does appear to be British
